Peter Paul Cetera is a retired American singer, songwriter and bassist best known as one of the early members of the Chicago rock band, before embarking on a successful solo career. His career as a recording artist includes 17 albums with Chicago and 8 solo albums. With "If You Leave Me Now", a song written and sung by Cetera on the band's tenth album, Chicago won its first Grammy. It is also the group's first single. As a solo artist, Cetera scored six Top 40 singles, two of which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1986, "Glory of Love" and "The Next Time I Fall". "Glory of Love", the theme song for The Karate Kid Part II, was co-composed by Cetera, David Foster and Diane Nini, and was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award for the original song. The best of a moving image. In 1987 Cetera received the ASCAP Award for "Glory of Love" in the category "Most Played Songs from Motion Pictures".
